JLT has opened its new shared service centre in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in February 2014, as part of its plan to boost competence at the international broker. The centre is JLT's second shared service centre in Asia pacific region; to help in improving process efficiency, systems, and operating models, enabling client-facing employees more time to concentrate on other areas.
JLT Asia Shared Services Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson group (JLT). The JLT group has two main lines of business Employee Benefits and Insurance Broking and has its presence through owned companies in over 36 countries and through a network its presence is in over 100 countries.
The centre will offer support infrastructure for claims, technical broking, IT, human resources and finance across the Asia region for JLT's staff.
With the vision of Streamlining, Standardising/Harmonizing and Continually Improving towards Target Operating Model / Best Practice of Existing Country Comparable Practices; the centre now operates with 110 employees offering support to JLT’s 12 Asian markets.
