  • Responsible for the performance and execution of a Customer relationship(s) within Plexus in a single geography.
  • The position includes responsibility for the strategic growth of the customer relationship, the financial performance and the customer satisfaction.
  • These strategies should support the individual customer’s needs and be complimentary to Plexus Corp’s primary goals and objectives.
  • Develop the trust and effective relationships within the account(s) at all levels.
  • Establish clearly defined objectives within the relationship and partner with operations to meet and exceed these targets.
  • Lead a customer review and measurement process that may include a MBR/QBR/EBR process.
  • Be fully accountable for the successful transition of business between sites new business and end-of-life businesses.
  • Provide innovative and entrepreneurial solutions that will provide the customer with viable solutions and help further differentiate the Plexus offering.
  • Be fully conversant and intimate with the Customer, their business, their business models, their competition, their market and their wants and needs.
  • Develop a viable account plan that conforms to Plexus objectives and solicits acceptance from both the customer and Operations.
  • Work closely with the customer and Plexus materials group to provide world class and cost effectivemanufacturing and materials solutions.
  • Develop a cost reduction strategy incorporating both manufacturing process and supply chain optimization that will provide the customer with an effective and ongoing cost reduction plan. Partner with operations to implement the plan.
  • Provide the customer with the highest level of Plexus competence in Design, NPI, Launch and manufacturing plans.
  • Proactively manage the customer P&L and able to recognize and influence the key drivers that will ensure the business is financially viable, cost effective to the customer and enhancing returns for Plexus.
  • Provide guidance on quotation improvements and a sanity check on the results.
  • Understand financial risk, capable of clearly defining and managing risk and providing Corporate with clear risk assessment and mitigation plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with 10 or more years of experience in the EMS industry and/or with relevant electronics OEMs.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills and interact well in a cross-functional team and maintain the confidentiality of all customer and company information.
  • Has the ability to understand, summarize and explain complex technical, technological and business concepts and possess quantitative analysis ability, attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
