Understanding of electrical components used in industry (power supply, MCB, relay, ELCB, etc.)

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

One of the Penang based manufacturing company are looking for a role of Electrical Engineer. This role must be able to accurately calculate the power consumption of a particular machine and size the correct components/devices that will be used. Reports directly to the Operation Manager the company.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible to design electrical schematic drawings with compliance to safety standard (IEC).

Required to calculate and source correct electrical parts based on project requirements.

Prepare and compile BOM list based on electrical drawings and raise PR for part purchase.

Well verse in electrical diagram and able to interpret the required machine electrical parts to be used.

Provide technical support on existing machine in electrical design.

Coordinate with multiple departments within company to achieve quality delivery of machine.

Ensure the projects are completed within timeline.

Experience Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Software Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent.

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Minimum 2 years of experience in design and implementation of electrical schematic of machine.

Understanding of electrical components used in industry (power supply, MCB, relay, ELCB, etc.)

Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Basic PLC programming skills.

Good oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin is preferred.
