Areas of Responsibilities
- Provides technical support to operation department, sales department and customers. Duties include conducting plant official trial mix, carry out site monitoring of on-site concrete performance and providing technical data or specification that required by customer and internal department.
- Maintains laboratory and testing facilities, responsible for accurate test procedures and results of raw materials and concrete in accordance with relevant international test method and specification.
- Assist in developing new test method, evaluating and monitoring test results of raw materials and concrete
- Develop new test method that is related to concrete
- Prepare documents of internal and external audits for laboratory and plant.
- Assist in implementing and renewing all relevant national certifications and licenses accorded to the company, examples include ISO 9001, SINGLAS, SIRIM, CIDB
- Takes initiative to suggest improvements to work and other area
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Required Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge on civil engineering, construction technology, material science, concrete technology and production.
- Knowledge on laboratory tests, relevant standards and specifications.
- Personal and communication skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
Education and
Experience
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in Ready-Mix concrete industry
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
