Internal Job Description Required. Job Descriptions:
01) Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors.
02) Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project or user, responsible to negotiate on pricing to ensure items and services are sourced and awarded competitively.
03) To increase awareness and drive implementation of e-procurement tool Ariba within organization and supplier base to ensure improve visibility on items sourced.
04) Advise internal and external parties on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.
05) In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and delivery schedules to meet factory or user’s requirements.
06) To follow up payment status when required and assist in progress claim verification.
07) Responsible and handle import shipments for related suppliers as well as coordinate special logistics arrangement during import process, serving as liaison for forwarding agent and custom office.
08) Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.
09) Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
10) Prepare analysis report and purchase history when needed, to assist in vendor meeting arrangement, including but not limited to Top 10 inventory items & usage, Excess, Stock report, Group maintenance expense and Group production line utilization.
11) Analyze and perform benchmark and comparison in factory project expenses in order to facilitate decision making in cost management during project execution.
12) To assist in vendor meeting arrangement and visit report preparation.
13) Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies in line with company purchasing policy of Just In Time and Just Enough.
14) To assist in new supplier’s qualification and ensure background, quality and experience meets business need for item or service sourced.
15) Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Others:
01) Assist in research assignments on relevant topics to benchmark and facilitate comparison and decision making for continuous improvement.
02) Train and provide guidance to new purchaser, including company’s purchasing procedure and policies, SAP training and report preparation.
03) Being part of the Group Sourcing Team members and to champion the products sourcing that was assigned by the superiors for the respective factory under Top Glove Group of companies.
04) The job holder has to undertake any other duty assigned to her by superiors.
05) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
06) The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure/ instruction.

Job Requirements:
01) Degree in any related courses or equivalents from reputable universities.
02) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
03) Strong interpersonal skills, problem solver and planner with organizational and analytical ability.
04) Experience in executing Global Procurement & Sourcing activities.
05) Proven experience working with cross functional teams to ensure cost control and process improvements.
06) Experience in ERP environment and Microsoft Office.
