A front runner in the industry, Adecco is currently assisting on a talent search within the electrochemical sector, specifically chemicals used in Semiconductor/Electronics industries. Our client is a manufacturing organization renowned for their constant innovation and expertise in developing built-in production lines, process equipment, particularly in the specialty metallurgy sector designed for semiconductor use.

They are on the hunt for an analytical and results-oriented Head of Operations to be the right-hand man of their Operation Director in helming Production/Maintenance/QA/QC activities. The successful candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in metal/chemical-based operations, with an excellent knowledge in the value chain in Penang.

What to expect

You will be leading the industrial plant's initiative to meet the increasing global demands on chemicals consumed within Electronics/Semiconductor industries while continuously implement new innovative solutions to ensure the operations stay relevant within the industry.

Overseeing the operations of manufacturing plants and warehouses including manufacturing and production systems, equipment, utilities and facilities maintenance management, staffing cost control and materials planning to meet best manufacturing practices.

The below is the minimum requirements for candidates to be considered for the opportunity:

Industrial Plant Leaders from Electrochemical (Solder, Abrasion, etc.) Industry is highly preferable

Master/Bachelor?s Degree in Electrochemical/Process/Manufacturing?or equivalent

At least 10?years of manufacturing experience - rotation in multiple discipline

At least 5 years of Managerial experience

Ability to drive the role forward assertively & improve operations reliability

Possess strong leadership and management skills

Experience in GMP and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Possess a board background in manufacturing with a wide range of knowledge on textile manufacturing and production processes.
