MTS MECHANICAL ENGINEER

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a mechanical expert with a background working from the silicon die level to the server system level. A successful candidate will possess deep technical knowledge/experience on methodologies and experimentation to validate mechanical models. The position?s primary task will be developing mechanical models of SOCs which are then used by internal customers and external customers. The external models will be in Solidworks for prototype and manufacture, system assemblies and collateral/2D draw out. The internal models will be used for stack up analysis, design fastening loading mechanism and backplates, translate KOZ with mounting holes for PCB engineers. The ability to analyze and create solutions via open source (OpenFOAM/FreeCAD) software a huge plus.
