REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in Industrial Operations management, Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Operations Management
  • Possess a good attitude and uncompromised integrity with strong leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills to enable the creation of a highly capable and sustainable manufacturing and operations function
  • Action oriented and innovative in leading the manufacturing and operations function
  • Capable of driving change transformation and strategy execution to achieve specific business results
  • Skilled in manufacturing processes preferably in the pressure sensitive adhesive/ tape industry and knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvements
  • Action oriented and innovative in leading the manufacturing and operations function
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Development and implementation of operational targets as per the Company's vision and mission
  • Spearheading the Production, Material Control and Maintenance departments
  • Planning, maintaining and monitoring all manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring effective and efficient communication between the operations and sales teams at all times to attain optimum productivity and meeting completion targets
  • Ensuring production costs are maintained at appropriate levels
  • Direct synchronization of the company's manufacturing process through Kaizen initiatives to ensure that innovation and continuous improvements are carried out throughout the production processes
  • Constantly improving business process efficiencies and effectiveness as well as product quality
  • Implementation of cost effective methods in the manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring that the quality and well being of assets are managed in accordance with technical standards and also overseeing the implementation of preventive maintenance
  • Implementation of "Best Practices" in order to improve quality
  • Developing operation reports in line with the business objectives
  • Managing performance of subordinates, identifying and developing talents i.e building successors
  • Identifying the training needs of subordinates and coordinates with HR department for the same
  • Ensuring implementation of quality systems and HSE programs at plant level as well as ensuring HSE standards/ procedures are implemented and followed in all operational activities
