Answers all telephone calls, takes down messages and takes appropriate action accordingly.
Maintains the movement registers or station diary and ensures accuracy of entry.
Ensures that all Hotel staff clock-in, personally. Reports to the Security and Safety Manager and/or Security Supervisor of any person who does not clock-in or out himself or herself.
Patrols all public areas and performs floor checks checking standard items like fire extinguishers, AHU and other room doors to ensure they are locked and fire hose/ reels are in its proper place. Updates the Security Station Books whilst making such rounds.
Whilst patrolling or stationed at public areas, including Hotel lobby and floors, is alert to spot any abnormal situations or strange/suspicious characters and informs supervisors immediately should there be any.
If there is a power failure, reports to the Security and Safety Manager and/or Security Supervisor immediately. In their absence reports to the Duty Manager on the same.
Reports to the Security and Safety Manager and immediately in case of a fire detected in the building. In their absence, reports to the Duty Manager.
Issues Visitor/Temporary passes to visitors and temporary workers and ensures that all their particulars including reason(s) for the visit are entered in the Visitor's Register legibly.
Briefs fully the Security Assistant taking over from him of the action(s) taken by him and further actions that are to be taken by the Security Assistant taking over from him upon completion of shift and handover.
Ensures that all keys to the various outlets and other keys registered are placed in the key box. These keys are not to be handed over to any unauthorised person. Ensures only authorised person(s) are given keys and each release of keys is recorded in the key control book.
Makes proper and thorough checks all items (such as handbags, bundles, packets) carried out by staff, suppliers and other parties whilst leaving the Hotel's service entrance.
Ensures that all part timers, permanent and contract staffs wear proper uniform and the grooming up to Hotel's standard at all times.
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned from time to time.

Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, any field.
Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English
At least one (1) year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Jalan Ampang,Kuala Lumpur.
Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Security/Armed Forces/Protective Services or equivalent.
